The Oyster Box Spa

The spa of The Oyster Box, a Red Carnation hotel on Lighthouse Road in Umhlanga, centres on a traditional Middle Eastern hammam used for hammam ceremonies of scrubs, steam and deep-tissue massage, with a plunge pool overlooking the gardens. Visitors who book a treatment can use the hydrotherapy area if they arrive 45 minutes early; bathing suits are required. The spa is open Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm and Sundays 8am to 6pm.
