About Find My Sauna

Find My Sauna is a directory of public saunas, bathhouses and spas. We list 620 venues across 49 cities, with photos, opening hours and what kind of heat you will actually find when you get there.

How a city gets listed

Every city starts from OpenStreetMap, which tells us where saunas, public baths and wellness centres are. We then read each venue's own website to confirm it is open, check what saunas it has, and collect photos the venue publishes itself. Anything we cannot verify does not go on the site.

Independent saunas come first on every city page. Chain gyms and hotel spas are listed too, but they sort last, because most people arriving here are looking for a sauna rather than a treadmill.

What the tags mean

• Finnish sauna is dry heat, usually 80–100 °C.
• Steam sauna is a steam room or hammam, near 100% humidity at a much lower temperature.
• Banya, jjimjilbang and onsen mark venues built around the Russian, Korean and Japanese traditions.
• SPA center means a venue whose main business is bathing and treatments.
• Infrared sauna heats you directly rather than heating the room.

Something wrong?

Venues close, move and rebrand faster than any directory can follow. If a listing is out of date, a photo is wrong, or your sauna is missing, email hello@findmysauna.com and we will fix it.

Listings are free. We do not charge venues to appear, and we do not sell placement in the ordering.
