Halcyon Floats

Halcyon Floats is a float centre at 1314 N Front St, on the cusp of Fishtown and Old Kensington in Philadelphia. Its heat is a full-spectrum infrared sauna booked privately for 40 minutes at $34 for one. The larger draw is flotation: three tanks, two extra-large cabins and one traditional tank, each in a private room with its own shower, holding 10 inches of concentrated Epsom salt solution. A 90-minute float is $89, and hours are by appointment.
