FYR Sauna Alnes
FYR’s self-service wood-fired sauna stands by the open coast at Alnes on Godøya. Anyone can reserve an individual shared seat or the whole nine-person cabin online. A booking code gives access and firewood is supplied; allow time to heat the stove.
Kvile Badstu Devoldfabrikken
Kvile’s second sauna is an automatically heated electric cabin by Devoldfabrikken’s waterfront in Langevåg. It has its own advance booking and door code, separate from Kvile’s wood-fired Nørvasundet cabin. A short passenger boat links Langevåg and central Ålesund.
Kvile Badstu Nørvasundet
Kvile’s mobile wood-fired sauna sits beside DNT Naustet at Nørvasundet, east of Ålesund centre. Visitors book a shared place or the whole six-person cabin online, receive a key-box code and heat the stove with supplied wood. Its Langevåg sauna is at a separate property.
SVAI Sauna Kubben
Kubben is SVAI’s independently bookable wood-fired sauna on Gjerdesanden beach, Giske. Visitors receive an access code, light the stove with supplied wood and can swim at the beach. It is a different island site from Molja and Kulturhavna.
SVAI Sauna Kulturhavna
SVAI’s Kulturhavna site on the south side of Brosundet has the Årre and Heite sauna cabins beside cold seawater-filled barrels. The two adjacent cabins use one property and count as a single venue. Book a shared ticket or private session independently of any hotel.
SVAI Sauna Molja
SVAI’s floating sauna at Molja by the entrance to Brosundet is booked for individual shared seats or private groups. The sauna, changing room and cold shower float beside Thon Hotel Ålesund; a hotel stay is not required. This is separate from SVAI’s Kulturhavna and Giske locations.
