Leisure pool and sauna paradise in Neusäß on Augsburg's western edge, rated Premium by the Deutscher Saunabund. Ten sweat rooms include a Finnish Aufguss sauna, steam bath, laconium, sanarium, salt sauna and outdoor Schären, Kelo and earth saunas around a sauna lake, plus a hammam and a 20 °C plunge pool. Tuesday is women's day in the salt sauna. Closed after serious water damage; reopening of pool and sauna is planned for February 2027.
Sauna im Alten Stadtbad
The sauna inside Augsburg's Altes Stadtbad, a listed Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) indoor pool and one of the oldest baths in Bavaria. For a surcharge on the pool ticket, guests use a Roman-Irish sweat bath, a Finnish sauna and a bio sauna with an Aufguss every full hour, plus a plunge pool, a courtyard open-air room with ice dispenser and a roof terrace. Tuesday is women's sauna day. The 4-hour sauna supplement costs 12 euros on weekdays.

The municipal sauna at the Stadtbad in Friedberg, just east of Augsburg. Two sauna cabins at different temperatures, one of them an outdoor sauna with an automatic infusion every 30 minutes. Sessions are mixed except Thursday (women only, 1 to 10 PM) and Sunday morning (men only, 10 AM to 1 PM). Open Wednesday to Sunday; the sauna reopened for the season on 3 October 2026. Three hours cost 11.50 euros, unlimited time 14 euros.
