Sauna am Rhy
Sauna am Rhy is a winter sauna in the Rheinbad Breite river bathhouse on the Rhine. It has a large 90°C sauna with a panoramic window over the river, a smaller 70°C sauna, regular Aufguss infusions with natural essences and wood-heated yurts. Guests cool off with a jump into the Rhine. Season 17 October 2026 to 21 March 2027; Monday is women's day. Entry CHF 35 for up to 3 hours, no reservations.

aquabasilea in Pratteln, east of Basel, combines a water park with a large textile-free sauna world: 8 saunas and 2 steam baths, including an 80 to 90°C Finnish sauna, a mine-themed sauna, an event sauna for up to 120 people, a Russian banya for Wenik ceremonies, a brine grotto, separate men's and women's saunas and a 3°C snow cave. Indoors there is a 90°C Finnish sauna with hourly Aufguss, a bio sauna and a steam bath; outdoors a half-buried earth sauna at 110°C, a fire sauna with a central fireplace and a Siberian log banya hosting Wenik rituals, plus a cold plunge pool.
