Temazcal at Hacienda Encantada

Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences runs a pre-Hispanic temazcal ceremony, the Mesoamerican steam bath, led by a natural medicine expert called the Shaman. Hot volcanic stones are brought into the lodge and doused with herbal tea to raise aromatic steam, cold towels and aloe vera cool the face inside, and the ritual ends with a cold-water shower.
