Aurum Spa is the spa of Hotel Casa San Agustín, a colonial-house hotel on Calle de la Universidad in Cartagena's walled old town. Its centrepiece is a hammam, a moist steam room where the Moroccan-style cleanse and scrub with coffee, volcanic mud and tobacco is done alone or with a therapist; several signature rituals begin there.
