Greenwoods Hotel & Spa

Greenwoods Hotel & Spa occupies a 17th-century manor house in the village of Stock, south of Chelmsford. Its spa has a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam rooms and relaxation rooms, and the gym club adds a 20-metre indoor pool and jacuzzi. Non-residents can book spa day packages that include facility access, lunch and Elemis treatments, or join the gym and spa membership from £75 a month. The spa is open daily 6am to 10pm, and pool areas are for ages 16 and over.
