Asmana is a large adults-only day spa in the park of Villa Montalvo at Campi Bisenzio, about 20 minutes from central Florence. It has four themed saunas (Indian Sauna, Wine Sauna, Biosauna Zen and Sauna delle Erbe), an infrared zone, a hammam with foam room, heated indoor and outdoor pools and a cold plunge. Sauna ceremonies run all day and are included in entry, which starts at €29 for three hours on weekdays. Swimwear is required throughout.

SoulSPAce is a day spa on the ground floor of the neoclassical Palazzo Galletti in central Florence, near Santa Croce. Its Aqua Journey combines a hammam, a heated indoor pool and a spa lounge with herbal teas; two hours cost €50, and packages add massages or facials. There is a hammam but no dry sauna. It opens every day from 10:00 to 20:00.
