Asanti
Asanti is a public wellness centre in Destelbergen on the site of the former Kristalbad, open since 2009. It has six heat rooms: a Kelo sauna, a panorama sauna, a chalet sauna, a salt-crystal sauna, a steam bath and an infrared cabin, plus indoor and outdoor pools, a jacuzzi and an unheated outdoor plunge pool. Guided Asanti Rituals infusions run several times a day. Bathing is normally nude; on Tuesdays swimwear is optional. A day pass costs €39. Open daily 11 AM to 10 PM, Sundays to 9 PM.
Saunate
Saunate is a 3,000 m² public sauna complex in Eke-Nazareth, open daily 11 AM to 11 PM without booking; one ticket covers the day. Indoors are a 100°C sauna, a 65°C bio sauna with light therapy, an infrared cabin, a Himalayan salt sauna and a steam bath; an inner garden holds an outdoor pool, a Kelo infusion sauna, a herbal sauna and a jacuzzi. Infusion sessions run several times daily, and an ice-cold waterfall cools. Saunas are nude; swimsuits are allowed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
LAGO Gent Rozebroeken
LAGO Gent Rozebroeken is a subtropical leisure pool with a 50-metre Olympic pool on Ghent's east side. Its bathhouse has three saunas (a 60°C bio sauna, a 75°C herbal sauna and a 90°C Finnish panorama sauna), a 55°C steam room, a 17°C ice bath and a heated outdoor pool. The wellness is included with a subtropical pool ticket (€16.90 for adults), where swimwear is required. Adults-only Pure Wellness evenings run Monday and Thursday 7 to 10 PM on school days, with a Tuesday Ladies Night.
Spa Reylof (Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof)
Spa Reylof is the spa of Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof in Ghent's old town, set in Baron Reylof's former carriage house. It has a Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, a 25 m² wellness swimming pool and a gym, and offers treatments. Visitors who are not staying can book a wellness package at €69 per person covering the pool and both saunas, a two-course lunch at Olivier Le Petit Bistro, and bathrobe, towels and slippers. Open daily 6 AM to 10 PM, from 16 years.
