Ishtar Hammam is a specialised hammam in central Heraklion, set in the restored Bon Marché building, a listed monument whose construction dates to around 1687. Visits are booked as rituals: time in a steam room at about 40°C and 80–90% humidity, a kese scrub on warm marble platforms and a closing rinse with colder water. The self-bathing Osiris ritual costs €35 for 45 minutes. Private sessions can be arranged, and it is open every day from 10:00 to 22:30.
