Description
The top-floor observation bath of Kagoshima Sun Royal Hotel looks straight across Kinko Bay to Sakurajima, and the hotel recommends coming in the morning to watch the sun rise behind the volcano. The water is natural chloride hot spring, with water added and reheated. The men's side has a far-infrared sauna and the women's a steam sauna. Non-guests can bathe for ¥1,500, 6:00 to 10:00 and 15:00 to midnight.
