Description
Asahi Onsen is a Hyogo-ward bathhouse founded in 1941 whose free-flowing natural hot spring is certified by the Japan Natural Hot Spring Organization, yet it charges ordinary sento prices. It runs five baths at separate temperatures, from a 45°C black-water bath to a 31°C spring bath and a 20°C cold bath, plus a free steam sauna and a high-temperature sauna for a fee. Open 9:00 to 23:30; closed Wednesday.
