Akari Williamsburg

Akari Williamsburg is a Japanese sentō-inspired neighbourhood sauna on Grand Street that opened in 2023 as a members' club. It has two communal dry-heat saunas, cold showers and cold plunges, a relax lounge and a back garden that was recently enlarged with a bigger plunge pool and quiet seating. Access is by membership, from $165 a month for daytime to $220 for unlimited use (weekdays 8am to 10pm, weekends 9am to 8pm); members may bring guests for $35 and walk-ins are not admitted.
