Onsen saunas in Niseko, Japan
Hotel Kanro no Mori Onsen
A hotel onsen in the Kombu district with public day admission and a sauna in the main bathing area. The operator also offers a private sauna with its reservable family bath; both options belong to this one venue. Day-use sauna hours are shorter on weekends and holidays, so visitors should check the current schedule before travelling.
Makkari Onsen
A village-run public bath south of Niseko with separate saunas in both men’s and women’s bathing areas, plus indoor and outdoor hot-spring pools. The outdoor bath looks toward Mount Yotei. The municipality has announced a temporary renovation closure from 2 November through 21 December 2026; check reopening before planning a winter visit.
Niseko Prince Hotel Hirafutei Onsen
This Hirafu hotel sells day admission to its large hot-spring baths, which include a sauna and outdoor bathing. The operator publishes morning and afternoon day-use windows, although they can change for private events or cleaning. Winter admission rates are higher, and parking is limited during ski season; confirm the day’s access before arrival.
Niseko Station Onsen Kiranoyu
A public day-use bath directly across from Niseko station. Both its Japanese-style and Western-style bathing areas have Finnish stone saunas with self-löyly, and the two sides rotate between men and women each day. The facility also has outdoor baths and a lounge. Check the operator calendar for its twice-monthly closures.
One Niseko Resort Towers Onsen
The resort opens its large onsen, outdoor bath and sauna to visitors without an overnight stay. Day admission begins at 13:00, with last entry at 21:00 and departure by 22:00. Towels are included in the published adult admission. The sauna sits within the same bathing complex rather than being a separate private booking.
