A downtown Porto day spa whose thermal suite has a traditional Finnish sauna with two essential-oil dispensers (eucalyptus plus a rotating scent) and a steam room. The shared, mixed-gender sauna is sold by time: 20 EUR for two hours or 25 EUR for four, with towel, bathrobe, slippers, lounge and water or tea included. Sauna sessions run daily 9:00 to 22:00; children are not admitted. Massages and facials are also offered.
Hotel Solverde Spa & Wellness Center
A five-star seaside hotel at Praia da Granja in southern Vila Nova de Gaia, about 17 km from central Porto. Its Spa & Wellness Center has indoor and outdoor saltwater pools and a thermal area with separate men's and women's saunas, Turkish baths, laconiums, sensation showers and ice cabins, for over-16s only. The hydrotherapy circuit is sold in spa packages. Open daily 9:00 to 21:30 with a break from 13:30 to 16:00.
