Centre du Lac is a small-scale sauna and beauty centre in Pijnacker, between Rotterdam and The Hague, running for more than 35 years. It has seven saunas, among them a Kelo sauna for Aufguss, a Maa sauna, a Finnish lounge sauna, infrared and a Turkish steam bath, plus heated pools, plunge baths and a garden. Visits are nude on every day, and Monday is a women-only day. Free löyly sessions run daily; the sauna is open 10:00 to 23:00.

Dunya Hammam is a traditional Oriental bathhouse on the Zaagmolendrift in Rotterdam-Noord, with a hammam, a heated belly stone, a eucalyptus steam bath and a relaxation room where guests are welcomed with Moroccan mint tea. Basic entry costs €20 for 1.5 hours, and packages add olive-soap washing, scrubs, mud and massage. Most hours are for women; men can come on Sunday from 18:00 to 23:00. Swimwear bottoms are compulsory.

The €37.50 hammam entry includes a guided introduction, soaping and a scrub, and use of the hammam, a heated belly stone, a eucalyptus steam bath, a plunge bath and the relaxation room. Massages and beauty treatments can be added. Most opening hours are reserved for women; men can visit on Wednesday and Sunday from 18:00 to 22:00.
