Description
Vesaniemen avantosauna is a winter-swimming sauna on lake Vesijärvi next to Kangasala centre, owned by the town and run by the local swimming clubs. Men and women have their own saunas, and the ice hole is kept open by compressor, with a heated mat and lighting on the pier. The season runs from 4 September 2026 to 14 May 2027. From October to April it opens Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 5 to 9 PM, plus Sundays from January to March. Adult entry is EUR 7.
