Hammam Al Bab
Hammam Al Bab is the domed Arab-style hammam of the Dar Al Hikma cultural centre on Via Fiochetto, near Porta Palazzo. It runs separate days for women and men: women Monday to Thursday and Saturday, men on Friday and Sunday, from 10 AM to 8 PM with last entry at 6 PM. Scrubs, argan-oil and massage treatments are booked on top of the bath, and the price list also covers traditional and Arab waxing.
Hammam Sansauna
Hammam Sansauna is a small independent hammam and massage studio on Via Ormea in San Salvario. Its traditional hammam rituals use black soap and a kessa glove scrub, with ghassoul masks and argan-oil massage in the longer versions, and a sauna can be booked on its own by the half hour. Hammam rituals start at €65 and the sauna costs €20 for 30 minutes. It works by appointment Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and is closed on Sundays.
SPA H14
SPA H14 is an urban spa and fitness centre on Via Paolo Sacchi near Porta Nuova station, in the building of the Best Western Plus Hotel Genova but open to outside visitors. Its two-hour Hammam circuit runs through a hydromassage pool, a Turkish bath with black soap and kessa scrub, emotional showers, a dry sauna, a Himalayan salt grotto and a tea corner. The individual circuit costs €49 and swimwear is required. It opens Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 9 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 8 PM.
