Its 120-minute wellness circuit takes in a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath with chromotherapy and aromatherapy, a six-seat jacuzzi, an ice-cold rustic shower, a Kneipp path, a heated bench and a salt grotto. It opens daily 2 to 9 PM, last entry 7 PM, and swimwear is compulsory. The whole spa can be booked privately for two hours, for up to 6 to 8 people.

Sauna Bagni Turchi is an independent sauna on Via Basso Acquar that has run for over 30 years. Its Finnish sauna holds Aufguss sessions several times a day, with guest Aufgussmeisters, and its Turkish bath, for up to 50 people, sits in a Roman-style calidarium around a 16th-century tufa well, with a cold-water pool alongside. Entry is €25 including bathrobe, towel and slippers. Bathing is mixed; neither swimsuits nor nudity are allowed and guests cover up with what is provided.
Aquardens
Aquardens is a large thermal park in Santa Lucia di Pescantina, about 15 km north-west of Verona, with indoor and outdoor pools of salso-bromo-iodic thermal water. Its Sauna Area, a €10 supplement for ages 14 and up, includes the outdoor Sauna Village with a Celtic sauna, a contemporary sauna, a Russian banya, a Turkish bath in a grotto and the Desert Sauna for Aufguss shows, plus Siberian showers, a Scandinavian cold barrel and a snow cabin.
