J Wellness Circle is the Ayurvedic spa on the first floor of Taj Cape Town, the city-centre hotel in the former South African Reserve Bank building on Wale Street. Separate wet areas for men and women have a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, and there is a 15-metre heated indoor pool, six treatment suites and a relaxation lounge. It opens daily from 8 AM to 8 PM; massages start from R1,380 and a half-day package with canapés and champagne costs R3,950.
