GesundheitSPArk Golfbadsauna
The Golfbad GesundheitSPArk is a sauna landscape in the Rabenstein forest in western Chemnitz. It has six heat rooms: an earth sauna at 105 °C, the 95 °C Eisenbach sauna with Kneipp wading in the Eisenbach stream, the classic Finnish Golfbad sauna with daily Aufguss sessions, a panorama sauna, a sanarium and a steam bath, with a fireplace lounge. It opens until 10 pm, from noon Monday to Wednesday and 10 am Thursday to Sunday; a day ticket costs EUR 29, and Tuesday until 5 pm is ladies only.
Saunabad Großer Teich
Saunabad Großer Teich is an independent sauna garden on the Großer Teich lake in Limbach-Oberfrohna, about 12 km west of central Chemnitz. Its 800 m² indoor area and 10,000 m² grounds hold three log-cabin saunas, two of them wood-fired, a gallery sauna with salt stones and a root banya, at roughly 70 to 95 °C. Guests cool off in a heated outdoor pool or in the lake itself. Aufguss sessions run six times a day; it opens daily from 11 am (last entry 7 pm), and a day ticket costs EUR 26.
