Albert Avenue Pools and Fitness on Anlaby Road was rebuilt for £11m and has two indoor pools, an outdoor lido and a new sauna on the main poolside. The sauna is walk-up with no booking and costs £6 a session. The lido is heated from May to September; in winter it cools to about 10°C for bookable adult cold water swims. The sauna closes for a clean from 2pm to 2.30pm on weekdays.
