Porchester Spa in the Grade II* listed Porchester Centre on Queensway in Bayswater opened in 1929 and is London's oldest spa; an £800,000 restoration recreated its 1920s character. It has two steam rooms, three Turkish bath hot rooms (Tepidarium, Caldarium and Laconium), a sauna, a cold plunge pool and a relaxation lounge, for over-18s only. Days alternate between men-only, women-only and a mixed Sunday; adult entry is £31.95, open 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM weekdays and to 8:00 PM at weekends.

Spa Experience Old Street occupies one of London's oldest Turkish baths, the 1930s Ironmonger Row Baths on Norman Street in Islington, run by the social enterprise GLL. The restored thermal spa has saunas, aroma steam rooms, Turkish bath hot rooms (Tepidarium, Caldarium and Laconium), ice fountains, monsoon and bucket showers, a plunge pool, a hammam and a relaxation lounge, plus hammam rituals. Open Monday 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 AM and weekends 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
