Sauna Deutsche Eiche is the bathhouse behind the gay-iconic Deutsche Eiche hotel in the Glockenbachviertel, a meeting place for men since 1995. On four floors with room for about 300 guests it offers a Finnish sauna of 90°C, an 80°C sauna, one of the largest steam baths in the city, a 37°C whirlpool, a rooftop garden, rest area, bistro and bar. It opens Monday to Thursday from noon to 7:00 AM and non-stop from Friday noon to Monday morning; entry is 26.50 EUR on weekdays, 28.50 EUR at weekends.
Schwabinger Men Sauna
Schwabinger Men Sauna is a men-only sauna in Schwabing that has operated since 1995 near Bonner Platz. In a compact setting it offers a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, an infrared sauna and a steam bath, together with a bar serving drinks and snacks, a lounge and private retreat areas. It opens Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Thursday 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, closed Tuesday; admission is 25 EUR including towel and shoes, 15 EUR under 30.
