A floating cedar Finnish sauna moored on the Ottawa River beside the NCC River House, opening in October 2026. The sauna runs at 85 to 95°C, and the cold plunge is the river itself: an enclosed river plunge plus open-water access. Sessions last 90 minutes and are mixed and clothed, so swimsuits are worn; there are changerooms and a lounge but no showers. Single sessions cost $45, and the whole sauna can be booked privately. Open daily 7am to 10pm.

An independent, women-owned urban spa in Hintonburg built around a Hot–Cold–Rest thermal circuit: a cedar löyly sauna with citrus-infused steam, a eucalyptus steam room, a 14°C cold plunge pool, rain showers and a firelit relaxation lounge with cocoon hammocks. Visits run 2.5 hours for at most 16 guests; swimwear is required. Women-only hours run every other Wednesday and the whole circuit can be rented privately. Closed Mondays.
