Kesän Sauna

Kesän Sauna

Kesän Sauna is a volunteer-run public sauna raft moored at Tuira beach on the Oulujoki River, opened in 2014 by Oulun Rantasaunaseura as the city's first public sauna in two decades. A wood-burning Sydän stove gives soft, moist steam, and bathers swim in the river between rounds. It is a mixed sauna, so swimsuits are worn, and visits last two hours. It opens on 1 May and closes for winter in early October. Entry is EUR 9.50, card payment only.
