Hehku

Hehku is a self-service floating sauna moored at the Torinranta pier beside Oulu's market square, opened in 2026 by Bastusauna. Shared 1.5-hour public slots are booked online (EUR 19.90 per person) and a PIN code opens the door; slots start daily from 8:00 and run until after midnight, year-round. A wood-fired stove heats the sauna, and bathers dip in the sea straight from the pier, through the ice in winter. Swimsuits are worn. The whole raft can be booked privately for up to 20 people.
