Medi Therme Bochum is a Mediterranean-style sauna and thermal spa beside the Ruhrpark with 16 saunas and steam rooms, including a Moorish hammam with a heated granite slab, a Himalayan salt grotto, a salt sauna, infrared and bio saunas, and stone-sauna Aufguss sessions every 15 minutes. Indoor and outdoor pools, plunge pools and a 10,000 m² garden complete it. The whole facility is used nude, and entry starts at age 14. A weekday day ticket costs €42.50; open from 11:00 daily.

Saunalandschaft Wischlingen is the sauna area of the Solebad in Dortmund's Revierpark Wischlingen, spread over two floors and more than 12,000 m². It has 11 saunas plus an infrared cabin and a salt grotto: a wood-fired Kamin sauna, a Lappland kelo log sauna for about 100 people, herbal, salt and steam rooms, themed Aufguss sessions, plunge pools and a 34 °C garden pool. Sauna use is nude only. Open daily 9:00–22:30; a day ticket costs €23.50 on weekdays.
