SHIAGARU SAUNA 福岡 天神
SHIAGARU SAUNA is a men-only sauna by Tenjin station, designed around 'shiagaru': leaving ready to eat, sleep or work well rather than just relaxed. It has two saunas, a half-barrel room lined with Yakushima cedar with automatic löyly and auto-Aufguss, and a Finnish-style room with a stove footrest and seasonal aromas, plus three 'floating' cold baths and a silent rest room. Weekday entry starts at ¥1,400 for 60 minutes; occasional ladies' days admit women.

Hotel Cabinas Fukuoka is a men-only capsule hotel a minute from JR Hakata station with an 11th-floor bath open 24 hours. It has a large high-temperature sauna at 90 °C, a gentler 60 °C 'royal sauna' with a warm foot bath, a cold bath, mineral and microbubble baths and an open-air bath overlooking Hakata station. Staff run löyly sessions several times a day, some as 'cool ice löyly'. A 180-minute sauna visit costs ¥1,870, plus ¥220 at weekends.

Yulax AMBIENT opened in Imaizumi in August 2026 as a mixed-gender sauna where everyone wears swimwear or the house sauna wear, carrying on Kumamoto's Yulax. The second floor holds a show-Aufguss sauna for 40 people and a 10-tonne cold bath; up on the roof are an air-cooling deck, a large jacuzzi and a submarine-themed far-infrared sauna. Entry is ¥2,200 for 75 minutes with swimwear included, 10:00 to 01:00, booked through LINE during the opening period. Tattooed guests are refused.
みなと温泉 波葉の湯
Minato Onsen Namiha-no-yu at Bayside Place Hakata draws a natural hot spring from 800 m underground and bills itself as the only day-bathing spot in Fukuoka City with a free-flowing open-air spring bath. Each side has a high-temperature sauna, the men's set near 100 °C, and a 16 °C cold bath. A jjimjilbang-style stone spa adds seven sauna rooms, including a 95 °C lie-down room with Aufguss sessions. The stone spa, bathing included, costs ¥1,780 on weekdays; baths open 10:00 to 23:00.

Wellbe Fukuoka in Gion is a sauna and capsule hotel with a men's area open 24 hours, a women's floor (noon to 22:00) where swimwear is worn, and a shared sauna theatre for Aufguss shows. The men's side has a kelo Finnish sauna for about 18 with auto-löyly and daily Aufguss, a forest sauna with its own cold pool, a one-person 'karafuro', a herbal steam room and a 5–9 °C cold bath, and men and women share an ice sauna. Two hours cost ¥2,000 on weekdays and ¥2,500 at weekends.

The men's side has a HUUM-heated stadium sauna with auto-löyly and a self-löyly 'Royal Throne Sauna'; women have a seven-tier high-temperature sauna and a salt-and-mud sauna; both have a herb sauna and two cold baths. An outdoor Twin Tower Sauna with self-löyly is shared in swimwear. Bathing runs 8:00 to 2:00.

Tenpai no Sato sits halfway up Mount Tenpai in Chikushino, with a natural hot spring drawn from 1,500 m and an open-air bath looking across to Dazaifu and Mount Homan. The renewed saunas take self-löyly on the men's side and automatic löyly on the women's, and the venue posts weekly Aufguss schedules. Six private family baths with Japanese rooms use the same spring. The baths open from 10:30 to 24:00 and close on the second Tuesday of each month.
