MACHI:SAUNA HIROSHIMA
MACHI:SAUNA HIROSHIMA is a reservation-based urban sauna in Teppocho, a few minutes from Hatchobori station. Its sauna room combines an electric stove with a wood-burning stove that is lit every evening from 7 pm, and Aufguss events run regularly. A 90 cm deep cold plunge at around 16°C holds five, and the open-air rest deck has infinity chairs. A two-hour session costs ¥2,000 on weekdays and ¥2,500 at weekends; capacity is 20 and swimsuits can be rented.

Grand Sauna Hiroshima is a men-only capsule hotel and sauna in Yagenbori, central Hiroshima, open around the clock with baths, a sauna, rest rooms, massage and a restaurant. It holds monthly Aufguss events with guest heat masters as well as its own resident one. Sauna-only plans include an early-morning plan from 5:00 am to noon and a 60-minute plan, each ¥1,320, or a free-time plan of ¥2,530; no reservation is needed. Guests must be 18 or over, and tattoos are refused.

It has two saunas: a social room set above 100°C for 16 people with auto-löyly every 15 minutes and regular Aufguss, and a silent meditation sauna at 85°C with self-löyly and daily aroma water. A chilled cold plunge runs at 14 to 17°C, followed by an indoor rest room with infinity chairs. There is no bath, only showers. The sauna is men only; day use starts at ¥1,700 an hour.

Its stadium sauna is billed as one of the largest in western Japan on the men's side, with auto-löyly every 20 minutes, and staff and guest Aufguss sessions run through the month. There is a cold bath, a carbonated open-air bath among large rocks, jet baths and a timber relaxation room. It opens 9:00 am to 11:00 pm; prices change from 1 November 2026 under the prefecture's bath fee revision.
