Hammam Al Ándalus Madrid Plaza Mayor
Hammam Al Ándalus opened its first Madrid centre in 2003 on Calle de Atocha in the historic centre near Plaza Mayor, reviving the Andalusian Arab baths under century-old vaults. Visitors move freely between baths at different temperatures, a steam room and hot and cold water contrast, with optional massage and a kessa scrub with black soap. Visits are 90-minute turns starting hourly from 10:00 to 22:00; the baths are mixed and swimwear is compulsory.
URSO Spa
URSO Spa belongs to the URSO Hotel & Spa, a boutique hotel on Calle de Mejía Lequerica, and is open to the public as well as hotel guests. Its water zone has a hammam scented with eucalyptus steam, a sauna and a rest area with reclining loungers, alongside a fitness space and treatments with Natura Bissé and Valmont cosmetics. Children up to 14 may use the water zone only from 10:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 to 16:00 with an adult.
