Southsea Sauna
Southsea Sauna is a six-seat beachside sauna on Eastney beach beside the Southsea Beach Cafe, heated by a Harvia electric heater. Guests alternate between the heat and a cold plunge tub, the sea, fresh air or a shower. It is a rustic set-up with no changing rooms, so visitors change on the beach; swimwear is required in the sauna. Sessions are booked online, and the sauna is open 6am to 5pm every day, weather permitting.
The Solent Sauna
The Solent Sauna is an independent seafront sauna on the beach path at Lee-on-the-Solent, across the harbour from Portsmouth. Single seats in communal sessions cost £9 for 30 minutes or £18 for an hour, and the whole sauna can be hired privately for up to six people for £90. Guided 90-minute sessions add aromatic steam, herbal infusions, whisking and scrubs, and the sea is close by for cooling. From October 2026 to March 2027 it opens Friday to Sunday.
