The Oxygen Club on the sixth floor of Millennium Hotel Taichung (台中日月千禧酒店) in the Seventh Redevelopment Zone was refurbished with separate men's and women's sauna areas, each with a steam room, a dry sauna and hot and cold plunge pools, beside a gym and an outdoor pool with views of the city government district. It opens 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, free to hotel guests and open to members.

The health club on the sixth floor of The Lin Hotel Taichung (台中林酒店), near the National Taichung Theater, has a sauna area with a dry sauna, a steam room and hot and cold pools, plus a gym and a 25-metre heated outdoor pool. The sauna opens daily from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM; it serves hotel guests and a limited number of members.

The Oriental Club on the 15th floor of the Splendor Hotel Taichung (台中金典酒店) has an open-air swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, a steam room and a jacuzzi. Hotel guests use it free; otherwise it is a membership club, with a one-year main card at NT$36,000 joining fee plus NT$3,500 a month, and members' guests pay NT$1,200 each when accompanied.

Freshfields Hot Spring Hotel (清新溫泉飯店) in Wuri sells day tickets to its hot-spring bathing area. The basement holds an outdoor hot-spring spa and separate indoor men's and women's bath sections with hot, warm and ice-cold pools, a herbal pool, a steam room and a dry sauna; the indoor baths are used nude and the outdoor pools need swimwear. A garden pool area added its own dry sauna and steam room in 2025 but closes from November to March. Entry is NT$500 on weekdays and NT$600 at weekends.

The ALFA fitness club on the seventh floor of the Windsor Hotel Taichung (裕元花園酒店) on Taiwan Boulevard has separate men's and women's sauna areas with a steam room, a dry sauna and hydrotherapy, next to an indoor heated pool with a 25-metre lane section. Hotel guests use it, local residents can join on membership cards with no monthly fee, and members may bring friends for TWD 1,000 a visit.

Changchun Sports Center (長春國民暨兒童運動中心) in Taichung's South District has a seven-lane 25-metre heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool with two 50-metre lanes. The indoor wet area has a spa pool, separate men's and women's dry saunas and steam rooms, and hot and cold plunge pools. A single swim ticket is NT$100, and the centre opens daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
