Pokapoka Onsen Shin-Moriyama-no-yu is a large sento in Moriyama ward that marked its 30th year in 2025. Its sauna is heated by a steam boiler, runs at about 100°C and sprays water straight onto the heater every two minutes, and heat-wave (neppa) events run on many days. Two groundwater cold baths are kept at 16°C and about 18°C, the second free-flowing in the open air. Open 6:00 to 1:00 every day; bath ¥550, with sauna ¥850. Tattoos are allowed with a ¥100 cover band.
Yachiyo-yu is a sento in Nishi ward that has been running since the early Taisho era, unusual for having two floors. The ground floor has eight baths including an electric bath and a daily medicinal bath; upstairs are a hinoki-scented far-infrared sauna at about 95°C for 13 to 15 people, a 13°C cold bath and an open-air bath. Daikoku-yu is a tiled neighbourhood sento in Nakamura ward, four minutes' walk from Nakamura Kuyakusho station, that calls itself a 'dagashi-ya sento' selling old-fashioned sweets. Its bath water is pumped groundwater heated with heavy oil, and the cold bath is free-flowing groundwater. The sauna costs ¥100 on top of entry. Hours are 15:30 to 23:00; the bathhouse's own site says it opens every day, while the Aichi sento association lists Sunday as its closing day.
Hira Onsen is an old-style neighbourhood sento in Nishi ward. Its far-infrared sauna runs at 105°C and was relined entirely in hinoki in November 2021, and the cold bath is kept at 16°C in summer and 11°C in winter. Other baths include a jet bath, an electric bath and two powerful waterfall showers. Entry is ¥550 plus ¥230 for the sauna with a rental bath towel. Open 15:30 to 23:30 (from 15:00 at weekends), sauna until 23:00, closed Fridays.
Hakusan Onsen is a neighbourhood sento a short drive from Nagoya Station with eight baths and two saunas: a far-infrared dry sauna set around 100°C and a herbal steam sauna. Bath water is groundwater drawn from about 150 m and passed over mineral ore, and the cold bath uses the same groundwater chilled to 15–16°C. There is a covered open-air rock bath with daily herbal additions and a strong electric bath. Entry ¥550, or ¥730 with sauna; closed Wednesdays.

Its bath water is drawn from a well, which makes it soft, and the bath house has a jacuzzi, a bubble bath, an electric bath, a cold bath and a dry-and-wet high-temperature sauna, with a coin laundry alongside. Since 14 April 2026 it opens 14:00 to 22:00 and closes on Mondays.
