RAKU SPA GARDEN Nagoya is a large natural hot-spring complex in Meito ward with 12 kinds of baths, five rock-bath rooms and more than 50,000 manga. Its high-temperature sauna uses far-infrared heat, the women's side also has a salt sauna, and the cold bath is carbonated. Guest Aufguss masters appear at events. Free-time entry, including towels, loungewear and the rock baths, costs ¥1,980 on weekdays and ¥2,730 at weekends; open 9:00 to 2:00, or to 8:00 the next morning before weekends.

Canal Resort is one of Nagoya's largest bathing complexes, fed by its own Tamagawa hot spring at 48.8°C. The main baths have a very large Finnish-style sauna with aroma löyly every 15 minutes, a salt sauna, a 2 m deep carbonated cold bath at about 10°C and a 6 m cold pool you can swim in. The South Area adds a 'live sauna', an outdoor tent sauna with self-löyly, a hinoki barrel sauna and a −20°C cooling zone. Entry ¥900 on weekdays and ¥1,000 at weekends; the rock-bath zone costs extra.

Ozone Onsen Yu no Shiro is a hot-spring bath near Vantelin Dome Nagoya with twelve baths, among them a carbonated bath, an open-air rock bath and a seasonal binchotan charcoal cold bath. Its sauna runs above 90°C with automatic löyly every 30 minutes from 7:00 to 24:00, and the upstairs healing salon (extra fee) has an oxygen sauna with aroma-and-music löyly shows every two hours. Open 6:00 to 1:00, later on Fridays and Saturdays for now; entry ¥800 on weekdays and ¥900 at weekends.

Urban Qua is a natural hot-spring bath and sauna complex in a Naka ward shopping building, drawing onsen water from 800 m below ground. It has four saunas: a silent sky sauna with automatic löyly every 30 minutes and a heat-wave on the hour, a TV sauna above 90°C, a mist sauna with a foot bath, and a Finnish sauna in the rock-bath zone where löyly shows run with sound and video, plus a −10°C cooling room. Three hours of bathing costs ¥1,050 on weekdays; open from 6:00, all night at weekends.

Tenku Spa Hills Ryusenji no Yu is the Moriyama flagship of a chain that calls itself the birthplace of the super sento and of high-concentration carbonated baths, open on this site since 1989. Its natural alkaline hot spring feeds open-air baths with a view. Saunas are a 'bazooka' löyly sauna with löyly on the hour and half hour, an outdoor self-löyly meditation sauna for men and a salt sauna for women, with cold baths below 10°C. Open 6:00 to 2:30 daily; entry ¥850 on weekdays.
