Umekita Onsen Ren is a 24-hour wellness park in Grand Green Osaka, north of Osaka station, certified by the health ministry as a health-promotion facility. Men have a large sauna with auto and self löyly and auto Aufguss; women have a Finnish dry sauna and an aroma moisture sauna. Cold baths are kept near 28°C under medical advice. There are indoor and outdoor pools with a tent sauna, bedrock baths, a gym and private bath-and-sauna rooms. Entry from ¥3,190 on weekdays; age 12 and up.

Solaniwa Onsen is a hot-spring theme park in Osaka Bay Tower at Bentencho, where guests wander in yukata. On the fifth floor, a weakly alkaline hot spring from 1,000 m fills nine baths, including a free-flowing open-air source bath and an infinity bath overlooking a large Japanese garden. The Finnish-style dry sauna has auto-löyly, and a cold bath stands next to it. Open 11:00 to 23:00, with a morning bath from 6:00 to 9:30; adult entry runs from ¥2,310 to ¥3,630 by date.

SPAWORLD is a large hot-spring complex beside Tsutenkaku, with a European zone and an Asian zone that swap between men and women each month. Saunas include a sauna theatre for 140 with Aufguss shows, a tea sauna with hojicha löyly, a dry laconicum, a Finnish sauna house, a hinoki sauna, a salt sauna and a herbal steam room; cooling includes a golden cold bath. A pool with slides, a private family bath with its own sauna and a hotel are on site. Entry from ¥1,500; baths open 10:00 to 8:45.
