HotSpot Sauna
HotSpot Sauna is an independent outdoor sauna in the back garden of PadelPadel in Aarhus N, built around guided saunagus. Every 75-minute session runs three rounds at about 90°C with breaks in a filtered cold tub kept at around 4°C, plus outdoor showers, and ends with social sauna. A single session costs 165 kr and unlimited membership 1,000 kr a month; yoga, pilates and social runs include a gus. Groups can book private sessions or the whole site.
La Sauna Aarhus
La Sauna runs guided saunagus by Godsbanen, five minutes' walk from Aarhus Central Station. Each 75-minute session has three rounds of 12 to 15 minutes with essential oils, music and towel-waving by a gusmester, cold showers between rounds and a quiet rest at the end. Places are booked per session or with a shareable clip card, swimwear is required, and the sauna can be hired whole for company or private events.

Badeanstalten Spanien is Aarhus' historic municipal bathhouse in the city centre, with a 25-metre pool, saunas and cold showers in both changing rooms, and the Grossererbadet wellness area: a sauna, two steam baths, a cold-water bucket, bubble and massage pools, and original 1933 cabins with infrared chairs. Entry is 57 kr plus 31 to 47 kr for Grossererbadet, booked by time slot. Thursday evenings bring saunagus (130 kr), and the area can be hired privately.

Aarhus Svømmestadion is the city's municipal 50-metre pool, with saunas in the men's and women's changing rooms and an outdoor sauna by the summer diving pool. Saunagus runs in the outdoor sauna every Tuesday and Thursday at 18, 19 and 20, a 16 kr add-on to the 57 kr adult entry, with a three-round Friday gus from 16:00. The outdoor sauna normally opens 1 June to 31 August and closes to other guests during saunagus.

Gellerupbadet is a municipal swimming bath in Brabrand with a standard-size lane pool, a children's pool and a baby pool. Its single sauna sits in the pool hall rather than the changing rooms, so men and women use it together and swimwear is required; it is heated to 90°C, with a cold shower outside. Adult entry is 57 kr and saunagus is a 16 kr add-on. The bath is closed on Tuesdays and keeps short, partly split hours on weekdays.

SEIER is a fitness club on Aarhus Ø whose sauna sits 20 metres from Aarhus Bay, with steps down from a platform into a harbour canal for a sea dip between rounds. Members use the sauna freely, and saunagus with essential oils runs several times a week from September to June in five styles, including mindfulness, bedtime and salt-scrub sessions. The sauna is open 6:00 to 22:00 Monday to Thursday and can be hired for private events.
