Asmana is a large adults-only day spa in the park of Villa Montalvo at Campi Bisenzio, about 20 minutes from central Florence. It has four themed saunas (Indian Sauna, Wine Sauna, Biosauna Zen and Sauna delle Erbe), an infrared zone, a hammam with foam room, heated indoor and outdoor pools and a cold plunge. Sauna ceremonies run all day and are included in entry, which starts at €29 for three hours on weekdays. Swimwear is required throughout.
Blue Moon SPA
Blue Moon SPA is the wellness area of The Moon Boutique Hotel on Viale Fratelli Rosselli. It has a sauna heated by a coal stove with volcanic stones at 65–80°C, a Turkish bath, a six-person Jacuzzi, a Himalayan salt wall, an emotional shower and a hot-and-cold water path. It opens 16:00 to 20:30, access must be booked in advance, swimwear is mandatory and under-18s are not admitted.
