Bičiulių pirtis

Bičiulių pirtis is a traditional Lithuanian sauna (pirtis) on a slope above the Nevėžis landscape reserve in Užliedžiai, on the north-western edge of Kaunas. Its steam room has wide single-level benches and a periodic fire-through-stones stove kept at about 60 °C, and guests cool off in a cold spring-water pool on the outdoor terrace. The hosts lead 3–4 hour whisking and scrub programmes for groups of up to 8, from €50 per person. Bookings run daily from 15:00 to 22:00.
