Viikinsaaren rantasauna

Viikinsaaren rantasauna is a wood-heated public beach sauna on the south shore of Viikinsaari, an island in Lake Pyhäjärvi reached by boat from Laukontori harbour in central Tampere. It holds about 30 people, with separate changing rooms and showers for men and women, and bathers cool off from the pier in the lake. Public sessions run in summer only (in 2026 until 6 September); entry is 7 EUR, not including the boat fare.
