Balian Springs
Balian Springs is a three-floor social wellness club in Alexandria modelled on Korean bathhouse culture. Daily membership covers eight themed sauna rooms — Loess Clay, Himalayan Salt, Gold, Charcoal, Far Infrared, Chromotherapy and Steam Box plus a cryotherapy room — coed hot and cold plunge pools, Aqua Lounge baths, indoor and rooftop hydrotherapy pools and a Hinoki bath. Parkside Spa & Sauna is a traditional Korean bathhouse and day-pass facility on John Marr Drive in Annandale. A $30 day pass covers the gender-separated bath pools, where no garments are worn, plus coed dry saunas, steam rooms, therapy rooms, hot and cold tubs and common areas, with three towels and a spa uniform provided.
