Description
The Saunawelt of the municipal bath in Monheim am Rhein, between Düsseldorf and Cologne. Six rooms make up the range: a Dampfbad at 45°C, a Kräutersauna at 80°C where herbs steam in a copper kettle, a Finnish Iki-Sauna, a Salzsauna, an Erdsauna and a Panoramasauna with its own outdoor pool, plus a cold-water area, a sauna garden, two rest houses and a barefoot path. Monday is a Damensauna. The bath is being rebuilt: it is shut 7-20 September 2026 and full reopening is planned for autumn 2026.
