EQ occupies level five of The Eighth in South Melbourne and is built around a bathhouse holding a hot mineral spa, a traditional Finnish sauna, an aromatherapy steam room and a five-degree cold plunge, with a light-and-sound dome and breathwork studio alongside. The whole space is phone-free. Self-guided bathhouse visits run 60 or 90 minutes from $59, and the fully guided three-hour Signature Journey starts at $150.
