Badhus is a social sauna in Amsterdam Noord built on Scandinavian winter-bathing habits, pairing a traditional Finnish sauna with a floating sauna, two ice baths and cold outdoor showers on the waterfront. HIMA is a recovery studio on the Ceintuurbaan in De Pijp where a sauna is paired with ice baths kept between 0.1 and 3 degrees, built in the United Kingdom by Brass Monkey. Sessions are booked at 25, 55 or 85 minutes, from 19,50 euro, and an ice bath on its own costs 10 euro. The whole spa can be reserved privately for up to six people for an hour.
