Cooling comes from a 16°C plunge pool, a 20–24°C outdoor pool and a 35°C whirlpool. The sauna landscape and its pools are textile-free and mixed-gender, and the earth sauna can be hired for private events.

Kur-Royal occupies the historic Kaiser-Wilhelms-Bad in the Bad Homburg spa park and works as a day spa rather than a swimming bath. Guests move through a Sauna of the Senses at 80°C with light and fragrance, a hay steam bath, a caldarium at 45°C, a herbal steam room scented with fir and the Odorium at 45°C, cooling at an ice fountain between rounds.
