The Lähde Sauna in the Lapinlahti hospital park is an 1880s sauna building that its operator calls the oldest still-functioning public sauna in Helsinki. It fits up to 10 bathers and stands less than 100 metres from the beach. Volunteer sauna attendants run a monthly schedule of mixed, women's and men's turns, mostly on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons, for EUR 12 (EUR 6 discounted) per two hours with no booking. It can also be hired privately from EUR 140 for two hours.
