Flamingo's adults-only Spa & saunamaailma in Vantaa promises Finland's most varied choice of saunas: eight, including the large honey-scented steam sauna Utu, the Syli salt sauna, the traditional Terva sauna, the Pyry pier sauna and juniper and mint steam rooms. Sauna rituals run daily in the spa saunas. A mineral pool, a warm pool and the Avanto cold pool complete it, and tickets from EUR 19 also cover the waterpark. Open daily from 9 am to 9 pm, to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Yrjönkadun uimahalli

Yrjönkadun uimahalli, opened in 1928, is Finland's oldest public swimming hall, a neoclassical building in central Helsinki where women and men swim on separate days and may swim with or without a swimsuit. The ground floor has one pool and two electric saunas at 85°C and 75°C, for EUR 6 per two hours. A second-floor ticket (EUR 20) adds a wood-heated sauna, a small steam sauna and an infrared sauna. Women's days are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday; the hall closes for the summer.

Mäkelänrinne swimming centre, run by Urheiluhallit, is a large sports hall with a 50 m by 20 m pool, a cold water pool at 8 to 11°C, saunas and steam saunas, plus a gym and a hot, humid HOT training area. A private sauna for up to 20, renewed in 2022, sits on the third floor with two dressing rooms, a sauna lounge and access to the pool area, and costs EUR 110 for two hours Monday to Thursday and EUR 148 Friday to Sunday. Gym users can follow a workout with a swim and sauna on the same visit.

USVA Spa

USVA Spa

USVA Spa by Terhen is a day spa in the Kaivopiha courtyard at the NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa hotel, inspired by Finnish sauna culture and nature. A one-time EUR 39 ticket gives two hours of the spa and gym, with a traditional Finnish sauna, a steam room, a cold plunge and cold mist showers. The spa is a unisex area where swimwear or a towel is worn. Day spa hours are Monday to Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm, Thursday to Saturday 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday noon to 6 pm, and the age limit is 16.
