Löyly
Löyly is a waterfront sauna and restaurant on the Hernesaari shore, in a timber building by the Baltic Sea. Its two public saunas, a traditional smoke sauna and a wood-burning sauna, each hold around 20 bathers and open straight onto a terrace and the sea for a swim. The saunas are mixed, so swimwear is worn throughout. A two-hour visit costs EUR 29 including a towel, and a smaller private sauna for up to 10 can be booked. The saunas close for maintenance from 4 to 7 October 2026.
Villa Wuorio Rantasauna
Villa Wuorio's wood-heated shore sauna sits at the water's edge in the grounds of a log villa more than 120 years old in Laajasalo, with a terrace looking towards Kustaanmiekka and the city centre. Bathers swim from steps straight in front of the sauna. In the summer season public sessions run on Thursdays and Sundays, mixed and women's, for up to 10 at EUR 18 (children EUR 10), and swimwear is worn at public sessions. Outside those it can be hired privately for about 10.
